Los poderes inmateriales de los monasterios: las reliquias, fragmentos de eternidad
Description

En una sociedad como la actual, que es capaz de pagar miles de euros por un vestido o un objeto de alguno de sus ídolos, no debe resultar difícil comprender el entusiasmo, la pugna por su posesión y el comercio, incluso fraudulento, de las reliquias en la Edad Media, cuando se atribuían al contacto con los mismos poderes benéficos que, en última instancia, incluían nada menos que la salvación eterna de los fieles que creían en ellas. Y, en aquellos tiempos, junto a la exigencia canónica de incrustar algunas en el ara del altar, las reliquias significaban, para monjes, cabildos catedralicios o simples párrocos, la posesión de un instrumento de dominio espiritual, que recordaba la presencia y la virtus de los santos y sugería la posibilidad inmediata del milagro. No extraña por ello que distintos tipos de reliquias fueran encontrando en las comunidades religiosas acomodo en lugares destacados y embellecidos, fueran sepulcros o relicarios, que se convertirían en polos de atracción peregrinatoria, mientras que sus más destacados posesores laicos, esto es, reyes o nobles, hacían de ellas instrumentos complementarios que venían a otorgar una pátina sacra a su dominio sobre los hombres. Por esos caminos no fueron infrecuentes los abusos, que, para los espíritus más sensibles, se convirtieron en tema de necesario debate a fin de que el fiel cristiano no olvidara que las reliquias, como las imágenes, constituían sólo un instrumento mediador, a través del santo correspondiente, en el contacto y la adoración a Dios, pero nunca debían ser objeto de simple y milagrera consideración fetichista.

LUGAR DE CELEBRACIÓN

Las sesiones presenciales tendrán lugar en el antiguo refectorio del monasterio Santa María la Real.  

 

INSCRIPCIONES Y MATRÍCULA  

  • Matrícula ordinaria: 195 €
  • Matrícula reducida: 170 € (personas en paro, Amigos del Patrimonio, Amigos del Románico, asistentes al Seminario sobre Hª del Monacato de 2023 o 2024 y los matriculados en otros cursos de la Fundación Santa María la Real en 2025)
  • Matrícula especial: 80 € (estudiantes menores de 27 años)  
    • Los alumnos que opten por la matrícula reducida o especial deberán presentar copia de un documento acreditativo de su situación: tarjeta de desempleo, carnet de estudiante (acompañado del DNI) o carnet de alguna de las asociaciones arriba mencionadas. Los asistentes al Seminario de 2023 o 2024 quedan exentos de este trámite.
    • El precio de la matrícula incluye el material didáctico, la excursión (comida incluida) y las actas publicadas.

 

Plazo de inscripción:  

Hasta el 17 de julio o hasta que se complete el aforo de la sala. La inscripción solo será válida si se ha abonado la matrícula correspondiente.  

  • A aquellos alumnos que por propia voluntad anulen su inscripción con posterioridad al 17 de julio sólo se les devolverá el 50% del importe.

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

In FSMLRPH we treat the following information and with the following purposes:  

CONTACT FORM: Management of requests received.

REGISTRATION FORM: Manage the creation of the account to facilitate purchases through the website.

PURCHASE AS A GUEST" FORM: Processing of the order placed and invoicing of the same.

NEWSLETTER FORM: Manage subscribers to send special offers and exclusive advances on programming and the company's newsletter through any multi-channel medium (email, sms, postal mail, etc).
