La metamorfosis de las iglesias románicas a lo largo de los siglos refleja la evolución artística, social y espiritual de los territorios en los que se desarrolló el estilo. Con el paso del tiempo, las circunstancias sociales y religiosas en las que nació el románico fueron evolucionando y ello motivó cambios importantes en la configuración arquitectónica de las viejas iglesias de los siglos XI y XII. El incremento de la población y los nuevos usos litúrgicos favorecieron la reforma de los templos, ampliando sus dimensiones, añadiendo nuevas estancias y acomodando el mobiliario litúrgico a los nuevos gustos estéticos. La búsqueda de mayor luminosidad y verticalidad llevó a la sustitución de las pesadas bóvedas por estructuras más ligeras, como las bóvedas de crucería. Al mismo tiempo, las ventanas se ampliaron, creando un ambiente espiritual más elevado y simbólico. Este cambio no solo respondió a innovaciones técnicas, sino también a una nueva concepción teológica: la luz como manifestación divina.
Hoy en día, la metamorfosis continúa con procesos de restauración y conservación que buscan recuperar la autenticidad románica, valorando su importancia histórica y artística.
El objetivo de estas jornadas es lograr un acercamiento al carácter multidimensional del monumento románico, analizando sus aspectos artísticos, técnicos, históricos y funcionales. Para ello continuaremos con la norma de impartir todas las lecciones al pie mismo de las iglesias, facilitando de esa manera no sólo el acercamiento práctico al edificio sino también una mayor interrelación entre docentes y alumnos.

El precio de la matrícula incluye el material didáctico, las tres excursiones en autobús y la comida de los tres primeros días.

El plazo de inscripción estará abierto hasta el 13 de julio o hasta que se completen las plazas ofertadas. Estas plazas se irán cubriendo según la fecha de ingreso de las tasas de matrícula.
