El origen de la muralla de Lugo se remonta a la romana Lucus Augusti, fundada en el 13 a.C. Es uno de los mejores ejemplos de muralla romana conservada, presentando una longitud de más de 2 km con 85 torres. Fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad en el año 2000.
La muralla está realizada fundamentalmente en granito y lajas de pizarra. Mientras que el relleno se compone de tierra y guijarros de piedra.
De todas las torres de la muralla, la más destacada es la conocida como Mosquera, al estar rematada con dos icónicos vanos. Esta disposición tan llamativa parece que fue la que tuvieron todos las torres del recinto.
La pieza está realizada de manera artesanal en nuestros talleres.
