Ámsterdam se consolidó durante la Edad Media como un centro comercial de creciente relevancia, con una activa vida gremial en la que artesanos y comerciantes regulaban oficios y formas de producción. Su posición estratégica y sus conexiones marítimas favorecieron la circulación de mercancías y la integración de la ciudad en las principales rutas europeas, estableciendo las bases de un desarrollo económico que marcaría su evolución en los siglos posteriores.

En el siglo XVII, ese proceso alcanzó una dimensión mayor con la expansión económica del Siglo de Oro neerlandés. La Compañía Neerlandesa de las Indias Orientales, fundada en 1602, desempeñó un papel determinante en este crecimiento. Considerada la primera corporación multinacional, articuló una amplia red de comercio marítimo en el sudeste asiático, controló rutas esenciales —especialmente las vinculadas a las especias— y proporcionó los recursos que impulsaron la prosperidad de los Países Bajos.

La gestión del agua y la innovación tecnológica también fueron elementos clave. En Kinderdijk, hoy Patrimonio de la Humanidad, los sistemas de molinos y bombas hidráulicas representan el patrimonio industrial que permitió a las comunidades mantener habitables zonas vulnerables a las inundaciones. Este conjunto refleja cómo la ingeniería hidráulica se convirtió en un factor esencial en la organización territorial neerlandesa.

La visita a distintas ciudades se inicia en Delft, que aporta una dimensión artística e industrial distinta. El Museo Vermeer muestra la trayectoria del pintor y su entorno urbano, mientras que Royal Delft preserva la producción tradicional de la cerámica azul y blanca, una manufactura que se consolidó en el siglo XVII. Ciudades hanseáticas como Deventer y Zutphen permiten observar la articulación económica medieval. Deventer destaca por su biblioteca histórica y la plaza Brink; Zutphen conserva un trazado medieval donde sobresale la Walburgiskerk, con orígenes en el siglo XI. Finalmente, Amersfoort y Naarden ilustran el desarrollo de la arquitectura defensiva mediante murallas, puertas fortificadas y sistemas de baluartes característicos del paisaje militar neerlandés.

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

In FSMLRPH we treat the following information and with the following purposes:  

CONTACT FORM: Management of requests received.

REGISTRATION FORM: Manage the creation of the account to facilitate purchases through the website.

PURCHASE AS A GUEST" FORM: Processing of the order placed and invoicing of the same.

NEWSLETTER FORM: Manage subscribers to send special offers and exclusive advances on programming and the company's newsletter through any multi-channel medium (email, sms, postal mail, etc).
