En el corazón de Amberes, la Catedral de Nuestra Señora se alza como un símbolo de la devoción religiosa y el arte flamenco, con sus magníficas obras de artistas como Rubens. La ciudad, que fue también un centro comercial clave en la Edad Media, ha conservado su rica arquitectura y su vibrante vida cultural.
Y al explorar cada uno de estos rincones, es imposible no sentir la profunda huella que Flandes ha dejado en la historia de España, desde sus vínculos con la monarquía española hasta su influencia en el arte, la ciencia y la cultura de la época. Flandes, con su patrimonio pictórico, su historia medieval y su herencia cultural, sigue siendo un eje crucial no solo en la historia de Europa, sino en la de España, un testigo mudo de siglos de intercambios y legado compartido.
