Al igual que en ediciones anteriores, en este XV Taller didáctico del Románico partimos de la idea de que un edificio románico es algo más que una obra de arte y que su contemplación puede aportar al visitante un amplio caudal de conocimientos que van más allá de los aspectos puramente estéticos. En este sentido, hay que tener en cuenta que las iglesias románicas son fiel reflejo de la época en que se erigieron de ahí que muchos aspectos relativos a sus formas constructivas o decorativas ofrezcan datos importantes para conocer mejor la sociedad del momento y la mentalidad de quienes hicieron uso de ellas. Sus muros nos hablan de la época en que fueron construidos, de las gentes que los erigieron, de la tecnología de que se sirvieron y del complejo universo espiritual que lo envolvía todo.
Los objetivos de estas jornadas son lograr un acercamiento al carácter multidimensional del monumento, analizando sus aspectos artísticos, históricos y funcionales, sin dejar de lado otras cuestiones, como las restauraciones o labores de conservación llevadas a cabo en nuestros días. Para ello continuaremos con la norma de impartir todas las lecciones al pie mismo de las iglesias, facilitando de esa manera no sólo el acercamiento práctico al edificio sino también una mayor interrelación entre profesores y alumnos. La teoría no es suficiente, de ahí que esta propuesta la hayamos fundamentado más en el trabajo de campo que en el espacio del aula. Con este fin proponemos un recorrido por una amplia selección de iglesias y ermitas del norte de Palencia y Burgos que servirán para ejemplificar algunas de estas enseñanzas.

Matrícula ordinaria: 295 €
Matrícula reducida: 280 € (personas en paro, estudiantes universitarios, Amigos del Patrimonio y Amigos del Románico).
Matrícula especial: 270 € (alumnos que hayan realizado la edición de 2021 o 2022 del Taller didáctico del Románico y los matriculados en otros cursos de la Fundación Santa María la Real del Patrimonio Histórico en 2023).
> Los alumnos que opten a la matrícula reducida deberán presentar un documento acreditativo de su situación: tarjeta de desempleo, carnet universitario o carnet de alguna de las asociaciones arriba mencionadas. Los alumnos matriculados en otros cursos de la Fundación Santa María la Real en 2023 y los que hayan realizado la edición de 2021 o 2022 de este taller didáctico quedan exentos de este trámite.
> La Fundación Santa María la Real del Patrimonio Histórico concederá 6 matrículas especiales para alumnos universitarios menores de 27 años que sólo abonarán 145 €. En este caso los boletines de inscripción deberán ir acompañados por una fotocopia del DNI y del carnet de estudiante.
El precio de la matrícula incluye el material didáctico, las tres excursiones en autobús y la comida de los tres primeros días.
El plazo de inscripción estará abierto hasta el 10 de julio o hasta que se completen las 40 plazas ofertadas. Estas plazas se irán cubriendo según la fecha de ingreso de las tasas de matrícula.
> A aquellos alumnos que por propia voluntad anulen su matrícula con posterioridad al 11 de julio sólo se les devolverá el 50% del importe.
