Hasta hace poco más de cinco siglos no existió en Occidente ningún libro impreso, de ahí que el único medio para guardar un texto o difundirlo fuese la copia manuscrita. En la Edad Media esta tarea fue llevada a cabo, en un principio, en los scriptoria monásticos y más tarde en las cancillerías regias. Monjes y escribanos se entregaron así al laborioso trabajo de copiar códices y diplomas, siguiendo muchas veces un proceso largo y dificultoso que dejaba secuelas físicas, como podemos leer en los colofones dejados por algunos amanuenses en sus obras. Sirva como ejemplo este lamento de Florencio de Valeránica (mediados del siglo X): “la visión se debilita, la espalda se encorva, las costillas y el vientre se aplastan haciendo que los riñones se carguen de dolor, todo el cuerpo queda dañado”.

El objetivo de este taller es disfrutar con una disciplina que nos permitirá sumergirnos en el arte de la caligrafía y en la recuperación de las formas de escritura del pasado, valorando el trabajo de quienes fueron sus artífices.

Contenidos

El taller que aquí presentamos, en su vertiente teórico-práctica, va dirigido a todo tipo de público y tiene como objetivo iniciar a los alumnos en la caligrafía gótica de los siglos XIV y XV. Tras algunos ejercicios sobre el manejo de la plumilla metálica, se irán realizando las letras minúsculas del alfabeto y diversas modelos de letras mayúsculas. También se instruirá en la decoración de letras capitulares a base de filigranas y diversos motivos para la decoración de cenefas y otros adornos.

Se trabajará con diversos instrumentos y soportes: plumillas metálicas, pinceles, lápices, tintas, gouache y pigmentos, sobre diferentes tipos de papel y pergamino auténtico.

Como trabajo final, los alumnos realizarán, sobre pergamino, un texto en escritura gótica con algunas capitulares y otros elementos decorativos.

Inscripciones y matrículas

Matrícula ordinaria: 195 €

Matrícula reducida: 185 € (estudiantes menores de 27 años, Amigos del Patrimonio, Amigos del Románico y quienes hayan realizado el Taller de Caligrafía Medieval de 2021 o 2022).

  • En los casos de matrícula reducida se deberá adjuntar con el boletín de inscripción un documento acreditativo de su situación: copia del carnet de estudiante junto con DNI o carnet de alguna de las asociaciones arriba mencionadas. Los asistentes a la edición de 2021 o 2022 quedan exentos de este trámite.
  • A aquellos alumnos que por propia voluntad anulen su matrícula con posterioridad al 7 de julio sólo se les devolverá el 50% del importe.

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

In FSMLRPH we treat the following information and with the following purposes:  

CONTACT FORM: Management of requests received.

REGISTRATION FORM: Manage the creation of the account to facilitate purchases through the website.

PURCHASE AS A GUEST" FORM: Processing of the order placed and invoicing of the same.

NEWSLETTER FORM: Manage subscribers to send special offers and exclusive advances on programming and the company's newsletter through any multi-channel medium (email, sms, postal mail, etc).  

Similarly, in those cases where you have checked the corresponding box, the data will be used to send the latest news, offers and discounts through any multi-channel medium (email, sms, postal mail, etc).
