I JORNADAS DE ARTE MEDIEVAL: La escultura románica en la Extremadura castellana y leonesa

Fruto de la colaboración entre la Fundación Santa María la Real del Patrimonio Histórico y el Museo Nacional de Escultura son estas jornadas con las que pretendemos realizar un acercamiento al arte medieval desde el punto de vista de la escultura en todas sus manifestaciones. Para ello contaremos con destacados especialistas procedentes de diferentes universidades, museos y centros de investigación.  

Esta primera edición se centrará en el estudio de la escultura románica en la Extremadura castellana y leonesa, una zona comprendida entre el Duero y el Sistema Central en la que el proceso de reconquista fue acompañado de una serie de privilegios reales que tenían como fin incentivar la repoblación de estos territorios. Surgieron así múltiples asentamientos que acabarían dando lugar a las llamadas Comunidades de Villa y Tierra, en las que el control de una serie de aldeas era ejercido por la villa o ciudad más destacada. Estas agrupaciones se organizaron en torno a unas iglesias que desde el punto de vista arquitectónico incorporaron estructuras tan peculiares como las galerías porticadas y decoraciones escultóricas en las que se reflejaba el universo espiritual de sus parroquianos. En los núcleos más importantes se fundaron sedes episcopales, con sus correspondientes catedrales, en las que trabajaron los mejores maestros del momento. Las órdenes militares tampoco fueron ajenas a este proceso y algunas de ellas establecieron aquí sus conventos o encomiendas con arquitecturas y ornamentos singulares.  

Para estas jornadas hemos seleccionado una serie de temas relacionados con la escultura que serán abordos desde metodologías y enfoques actualizados.  

El curso va dirigido a todo de público, desde estudiantes universitarios a entusiastas y amantes del arte en general.

16.45 h.: Miguel Sobrino (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) Los talleres escultóricos del románico abulense: nuevas pesquisas sobre materiales, técnicas y acabados  

17.45 h.: Javier Martínez de Aguirre (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) Evocaciones a Tierra Santa en el románico castellano: de las formas arquitectónicas a los repertorios ornamentales  

18.45-19.00 h.: Coloquio

16.15 h.: Antonio Ledesma (CSIC-Instituto de Historia) Imágenes para un Cabildo: la escultura románica en la “Catedral Vieja” de Salamanca  

17.15 h.: José Arturo Salgado Pantoja (Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha) Estampas cotidianas de una sociedad de frontera: la decoración escultórica de las galerías porticadas castellanas  

18.15 h.: Coloquio    

 

Jueves, 29 de octubre  

16.15 h.: Inés Monteira Arias (UNED) Románico e ideología: la influencia del Islam en la iconografía del románico castellano  

17.15 h.: Marta Poza Yagüe (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) La gran portada historiada en el románico de la Extremadura castellana: simbolismo y representación

VISITAS AL MUSEO NACIONAL DE ESCULTURA  

En las mañanas del 28 y 29 de octubre los alumnos que lo deseen podrán visitar las salas y exposiciones del Museo Nacional de Escultura. En su momento se especificarán los horarios previstos.    

 

CONDICIONES DEL CURSO    

Matrícula ordinaria: 75 €

Matrícula reducida: 60 € (estudiantes universitarios, Amigos del Museo Nacional de Escultura, Amigos del Patrimonio, Amigos del Románico y los asistentes a otros cursos de la Fundación Santa María la Real en 2020).  

  • Los alumnos que opten por la matrícula reducida deberán presentar copia de un documento acreditativo de su situación: carnet de estudiante o carnet de alguna de las asociaciones arriba mencionadas. Los asistentes a otros cursos de la Fundación Santa María la Real en 2020 quedan exentos de este trámite.

Reconocimiento de la Consejería de Educación de la Junta de Castilla y León

Este curso será reconocido como formación permanente del profesorado por la Consejería de Educación de la Junta de Castilla y León a profesores de niveles anteriores a la Universidad que ejercen en esta Comunidad Autónoma. Será imprescindible la aportación de un correo personal de @educa.jcyl.es, así como acreditar la asistencia al 80% de las horas lectivas del curso.

  • A aquellos alumnos que por propia voluntad anulen su matrícula con posterioridad al 16 de octubre sólo se les devolverá el 50% del importe.

If the user is a minor, the user is required to have prior consent from their parents or guardians before entering their personal data into forms found on the website. FSMLRPH is exempt from any liability resulting from the breach of this requirement.

1. What rights protect you in terms of personal data processing?

- Right to request the limitation of its processing.

- Right to oppose processing.

- Right to data portability.

Access/rectification and deletion: interested parties have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, when required, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the execution of the contract.

Limitation: in certain circumstances, the interested parties may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep the data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

We will respond to your requests as soon as possible and always within a month of receipt. This period may be extended for another two months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and the number of requests. The data controller will inform the interested party of the extension within the first month of the request.  

3. Do you have the right to withdraw your consent?  

Yes, you have the right to withdraw the consent given at any time, without affecting the legality of the processing based on the consent given at the time of your subscriptions or when you entered the data.  

4. Where should I go to exercise my rights?  

To exercise your rights, you can send a letter with all your information, including a photocopy of your ID or passport and indicating the right you would like to exercise, by contacting FUNDACIÓN SANTA MARÍA LA REAL DEL PATRIMONIO HISTÓRICO.
